Experienced SAT Tutor

We’re looking for **experienced SAT tutors** who are engaging, reliable, and confident teaching structured lessons to motivated students. This role is ideal for tutors who want **consistent classes**, clear expectations, and a professional program — not one\-off sessions. **Time Commitment** This role requires availability for: * 6\-week class commitments * 2 classes per week * Each class lasting 3 hours * After school and/or weekend availability required in EASTERN time zone. Please only apply if you can commit to the **full 6\-week session**. **What You’ll Do** * Teach SAT Math and/or Reading \& Writing to small groups and/or 1\-on\-1 students * Deliver lessons using our structured curriculum * Clearly explain concepts and test strategies * Keep students engaged and focused during longer sessions (2\-3 hours) * Communicate professionally with our team and students * Help students build confidence and consistency **Who This Role Is For** You’ll be a strong fit if you: * Have **prior SAT tutoring experience** * Are comfortable leading longer, structured classes * Can explain concepts clearly and logically * Are engaging, personable, and professional * Care about real, measurable score improvement **Preferred Qualifications:** * 2\+ years of SAT tutoring experience * Experience teaching small groups **Interview Process** We aim to keep our process clear, fair, and efficient. **Any questions text us at 813\-565\-0820** **Step 1: Short Teaching Video** After applying, selected candidates will receive a **PDF with SAT problems**. Please record a **short, unedited video** explaining the problems. (No production quality or editing required.) We’re evaluating: * Are you a real human? * Are you engaging? * Do your explanations make sense? If yes across the board, you’ll move forward. **Step 2: Introductory Zoom Interview** You’ll meet with one of the owners (**Brett or Carson**) for a Zoom call. On this call: * We’ll discuss your background and tutoring experience * We’ll talk through availability and commitment * Brett will walk you through our program at a high level * We’ll confirm mutual fit **Step 3: Teaching Demonstration \& Q\&A** Final candidates will join a **1\-hour Zoom call** with both owners (**Brett and Carson**). **Structure of the call:** * **15–30 minutes:** You present a lesson we provide * **\~30 minutes:** Q\&A, feedback, and discussion Job Types: Part\-time, Contract Pay: $30\.00 \- $70\.00 per hour Benefits: * Work from home Application Question(s): * Are you comfortable recording a short, unedited teaching video explaining SAT problems as part of the interview process? * Are you able to commit to an 6 to 10 week SAT class, meeting twice per week for 2–3 hours per session, without missing sessions?
