Graduate School USA (GSUSA) is seeking experienced instructors to deliver live virtual courses, with the option for in\-person teaching, in **Federal Acquisition Professional (FAC\-C ) \- Federal Workforce Training** . We are looking for subject matter experts who are passionate about public service, innovation, and adult learning. **Key Responsibilities** **Instruction \& Facilitation** * Deliver live virtual and/or in\-person instruction aligned with **DITAP** and **FAC\-C\-DS** competencies. **Teach modules covering:** * Basic contract administration, post\-award oversight, and contract closeout procedures in accordance with FAR * Federal appropriations law, Antideficiency Act compliance, and the obligation and management of appropriated funds * Performance\-based acquisition and the development of Performance Work Statements (PWS) and quality assurance plans * Federal budgeting fundamentals, budget cycle phases, and operating budget construction and justification * Federal financial management principles, including accounting, internal controls, and performance measurement * Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process, stakeholder roles, and budget execution * Flexible acquisition strategies and innovative procurement approaches within federal regulatory frameworks * Provide practical guidance on federal acquisition regulations (FAR) * Mentor and coach acquisition professionals through cohort\-based and individualized support **Curriculum Development** * Design and update course materials, lesson plans, job aids, and digital learning tools. * Collaborate with agency partners and internal teams to tailor content to mission needs. * Incorporate learner feedback and evolving requirements into continuous curriculum improvement. **Engagement \& Student Support** * Facilitate interactive, inclusive learning environments using diverse instructional methods. * Respond promptly and professionally to student inquiries. * Ensure all instruction meets GSUSA quality standards and policies. **Professional Growth \& Collaboration** * Participate in professional development to maintain subject expertise and teaching effectiveness. * Support instructional delivery with comprehensive educational resources. * Work closely with curriculum staff to recommend and implement course updates. **Qualifications \& Experience** **Education** * Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred. * Relevant certifications (DITAP, FAC\-C, FAC\-COR, FAC\-P/PM, CPLP, CGTP) strongly preferred. **Professional Experience** * 10\+ years in federal contracting, procurement, financial management, or related field. * Demonstrated expertise in federal acquisition regulations, including **FAR 13\.500(c)** and appropriations law. * Experience teaching adult learners in both virtual and in\-person settings. * Prior success teaching or mentoring adult learners in both virtual and in\-person settings. * Demonstrated expertise in federal acquisition regulations, including FAR and appropriations law **Instructional Expertise** * Skilled in facilitating courses with engaging, student\-centered approaches. * Strong classroom management and learner engagement strategies. * Comfortable teaching in virtual, hybrid, and traditional environments. **Communication \& Professional Skills** * Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. * Strong interpersonal, organizational, and collaboration skills. * Professionalism, punctuality, and commitment to academic excellence. **Technology Proficiency** * Experienced with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Adobe Connect, and LMS platforms. * Proficient in Microsoft Office 365; comfortable with Slack and other collaborative tools. * Ability to manage digital tools and smart devices during live instruction. **System Requirements for Virtual Teaching** * Windows 10\+ or MacOS 10\.9\+ * Dual or large monitors, HD webcam, quality mic/speakers * Reliable broadband internet connection Compensation \& Benefits * Competitive hourly rates: **$40–$60 per hour**, based on experience and qualifications. * Part\-time instructors are eligible for: * Paid sick leave * Access to robust learning management systems * Individual development planning * Compensation decisions consider role, location, skills, experience, peer equity, and organizational needs. Our defined compensation structure is market competitive and is built to reward performance. Our Instructor roles fall under two designations based on skills/experience. Those selected for an Instructor I designation can expect a reasonable estimate of the current range to be $40\.00 to $60\.00 per hour. We take a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including but not limited to: job and level hired into, location, skill set; experience and training; peer compensation and other business and organizational needs. This range is subject to change. Pay is just one component of our total rewards package. Our part\-time instructors are eligible for paid sick leave, a robust learning management system and individual development planning.
